Sitting Volleyball is a sport for all, Including able-bodied and disabled athletes.
It follows mostly the same rules and structure as mainstream Volleyball, but it is played on a smaller court, with a lower net. The players, who have various levels and types of physical impairment, must move around the court in a seated position on the floor.
Sitting Volleyball can be played indoors or on the beach.
If any player has a permanent injury or disability that affects their ability to perform the movements of Volleyball such as running and jumping, or their ability to execute the basic skills of Volleyball, they may be eligible to play Sitting Volleyball.
